Visit of Ms. Anna-Kaisa Heikkinen of the Finland Embassy.
Ms. Anna-Kaisa Heikkinen, Attache , Finland Embassy, New Delhi visited Mundgod on the 13th of December to inspect on the field progress and general status of the Tsechen Damchos Ling Hostel construction project which was fully financed by the Embassy.
She was received at Goa by the Administrator of the monastery - Acharya Guru Gyaltsen - and the same evening she visited the construction site.
Since great care has been taken in the regulation of the finance and construction works along with the quality of the construction materials, we believe that she is quite satisfied and happy with the developments.
She visited the site once again on the morning of the 15th of December, and we have presented the 6 months' accounts of the construction and also discussed the proposed projects for 2005 that we have submitted with prayers to the Embassy.
Ms. Heikinnen also took the time to visit the two local Lama Camps, the Central School for Tibetans, Mundgod, the Old and Infirm People's Home, and the Nunnery. She stayed the two nights at Pema Tsal School.
